Hasta Luego Miami….2016 is about change and growth for this wandering soul who has been stationary a little too long.   Today I end the day without a “permanent” home in the 305.  Many of you knew it was coming.  If I forgot to tell you personally, or forgot to ask you to meet up for one last drink, hug or laugh, it wasn’t intentional; the last month just moved so quickly! I will always call Miami my home and have no doubt I will return for at least some visits.  Home base (where my “stuff” resides) will be in Cape Coral, FL with my family.  I will be taking the next few months to travel, visit wonderful people and take advantage of the world around me. 

The move has been a long time coming and stems from an urge to push myself to learn, grow and explore.  There are more reasons to do this than not.  As I explore and ponder the choices of where next to call home, I’ll continue to work at Dragonfly Expeditions and Margaritaville Adventures from the road through the first week of August and work on some side projects of my own afterward.   I hope to make at least an appearance on the next Margaritaville Adventure trip to Matlacha this October.  There are a lot of exciting things happening and fresh new faces leading the charge there, and I look froward to seeing what new directions they take the company.  I am proud to have been a part of the team for the last 10 years and will miss my work family more than words can express. 

I'm charmed to have such an awesome set of friends and family in South Florida supporting my adventures from afar and look forward to seeing those friends all over the country that I haven't visited with for a long time.
